Gene Curtis is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois and a graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois with a degree in Agriculture Industries. He is the owner and managing broker of REMAX Unified Brokers in Macomb, Illinois and also active in a farming operation near Sciota, Illinois.

Gene's family includes his wife, Joanne, a retired language arts teacher at Macomb Jr.-Sr. High and graduate of Western Illinois University, daughter, Amber, and sons, Nick and Matt. The family is a member of St. Paul Parish.

Nick Curtis is a licensed broker with RE/MAX Unified Brokers.

Nick graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in English. The following year he earned a master’s degree in secondary education at Western Illinois University and later became a freshman English teacher at Lockport Township High School, located in the southwest Chicago suburbs.

While in college, he worked as a newspaper reporter at the Macomb Eagle, covering local school boards, city councils, sports, and in-depth features. He also spent one summer as a Congressional intern in Washington, D.C.
